AWRA-NCRS is hosting a technical panel discussion on regional water supply planning in the Washington Metropolitan Area, following the release of the 2025 Washington Metropolitan Area Water Supply Study. The session will bring together experts from Interstate Commission on the Potomac River Basin (ICPRB), regional water utilities and partners, and academia to share perspectives on long-term planning challenges, regional coordination, and implications for water supply resilience.
Panelists will offer brief remarks from their respective viewpoints, followed by a moderated discussion and Q&A. The event is designed to offer a focused, practical discussion for practitioners, planners, and researchers interested in regional water supply planning.
