ADAPTATION AND RESILIENCE TO NATURAL DISASTERS

How does the National Capital Region prepare for natural disasters and assess risks to our human environment? Are the lessons learned from our nearby coastal communities part of the solution? Can models, infrastructure design, and smart policies help us effectively manage water resources and plan for an uncertain future? Please join us for presentations and a discussion of these topics, and more.
